Part 2: Waging War on God

What caused man to turn his back on God?

Is it out of malevolence? Arrogance?

Perhaps man is smart enough on his own. Smart enough to navigate the modern world. Maybe man believes that God was a necessity for harder times and, therefore, has served His purpose.

Perhaps man has lost his sense of responsibility and has decided to blame his misfortune on God because he has no control over his own life. Which brings us to the question—does man suffer from a lack of belief in God? Or does man suffer from a hatred of God? Perhaps man has chosen to ignore the challenge of faith and spirituality and has—instead—turned to a life of hedonism; finding bliss in his willingness to remain in darkness.

The cavalier mindset of the modern liberal believes in a lack of belief—which is to say he believes in nothing. He holds no conviction and shies away from the search for it, fearing he may discover a challenge. When spirituality is sought after, man will inevitably face a need to embrace accountability once he discovers his salvation has already been bought. With his salvation paid for, he is called to no longer align himself with eternal suffering—for with God, he will inherit eternal life. As he now understands this world is finite, man can no longer justify his bottomless pit of despair on the fallen world that surrounds him—for now, he understands why the world has fallen.

It is true that mankind seeks fulfillment in worldly success and worldly materials; for this reason, he often places hope in the world—but eventually he will see it falter. When it falters, a desire for change often manifests itself in the form of dangerous transgressive ideas.

Tear it down. Burn it down. Our ideology will give us the earthly salvation we desire. The current system of hierarchical structure is no longer serving our needs.

It’s easy for man to mistake a mindset of despair for a mindset of revolutionary ambition. Every man thinks he has what it takes to usher in a new era of ideological enlightenment. Modern man believes he will not fall victim to the opportunistic evils that will most definitely lurk behind every corner of his new mangled maze of virtue. It is this new man-made structure that will become god to the secularists.

It is man’s failure to submit to a God of creation that will cause him to flounder in a spiral of endless introspection. A journey with no end—only a treacherous path of deception which looks to steal, kill, and destroy; and that is a hellish evil that will entice any mortal man. We have seen so throughout history.

Modern arrogance and narcissism are what deceives man into believing he will be different than Stalin, he will be different than Mao.

If you give it to me…I will use these tools more virtuously…I will change the world for better…It will be as I say—or else.

Modern “spirituality” says that man can learn to become his own god. What that’s really calling for is the destruction of the almighty God. The one true God. The Alpha and the Omega. Man will choose to submit or destroy, and modern man has not chosen wisely.
